I am a physio from the UK who worked for 6 months in a public hospital in the North Island and 6 months in a private clinic in the South Island. Like everyone, everything was arranged over the phone and by email - but it all went smoothly and my recruitment consultant was so good with the emails and phone calls! It took a while to get registered, but once I had that I had the choice of some good jobs! Prudence arranged accommodation for us - and introduced us to many people who we socialized and travelled with!
The best times were in the summer and the travel we could do between work and on the long weekends, the money did not stretch too far, but it was the lifestyle and the people that made the trip for us
I had a great year and hope to return!
